Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a completed sale. The contract is formed
when we send you a dispatch confirmation. Until then we may decline an order — if
an item is out of stock, if a price was displayed incorrectly, or if we cannot
verify the payment.
If we decline your order we refund you in full, and we do it promptly.
Prices
Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax, which is calculated at checkout
based on your delivery address where we are required to collect it.
We may change prices at any time, but never after you have placed an order.
If a price is listed wrongly through an obvious error, we are not obliged to
honour it. We will contact you, explain, and offer you the choice of paying the
correct price or cancelling for a full refund.
Payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Payment is processed by Stripe and PayPal. We never see or store your card
number.
Delivery
Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Once a parcel is handed to the
carrier, its progress is outside our control. We will always help you chase a
delayed parcel.
Risk passes to you on delivery.
Product information
Air fresheners are fragrance products, and fragrance is subjective. We describe
each scent as accurately as we can, but how a fragrance is perceived varies
between people and between environments. A scent not being to your taste is not a
fault.
The “up to 60 days” duration is measured under normal conditions. Heat,
ventilation and direct sunlight all shorten it.
Colours on screen may vary slightly from the product.
Safe use
Keep away from children and pets. Do not ingest. Do not apply directly to painted,
vinyl or leather surfaces — use the hanger or holder supplied. Some products can
mark surfaces if left in direct contact, and we cannot be responsible for damage
caused by using a product in a way it was not designed for.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for anything done
through your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access.
We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently.
Wholesale
Wholesale and distribution orders are governed by a separate agreement, including
minimum order quantities, freight terms and payment terms. Nothing on this page
overrides that agreement.
Our liability
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our
negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid
for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Intellectual property
“Exotica”, the palm tree device and the product designs are our trade marks and
designs. You may not use them without written permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA. Disputes are
subject to the courts of Ohio.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one
published when you placed it.
